Restoring Your Favorite Coffee Maker

I’m very fond of my coffee maker. It’s very old, as I have had it for a very long time, decades in fact. I have tried other coffee makers through the years. Newer ones, fancy ones, free ones, expensive ones, but I always end up giving them away, and using my good ol’ tried-and-true. It works for me. I like the coffee, and I’m used to it. One might say (if you say it politely) that I am set in my ways.

Ahhhh… that first sip of coffee in the morning! There’s nothing like it! No wonder one coffee company uses that idea as their slogan… “the best part of waking up…” Just the smell of fresh brewed coffee is often enough to get you out of bed and starting the day, something that otherwise is sometimes a little difficult.
However, unless you have a loving partner who is willing to get going before you, that cup of coffee isn’t going to make itself.
