Restoring Your Favorite Coffee Maker
I’m very fond of my coffee maker. It’s very old, as I have had it for a very long time, decades in fact. I have tried other coffee makers through the years. Newer ones, fancy ones, free ones, expensive ones, but I always end up giving them away, and using my good ol’ tried-and-true. It works for me. I like the coffee, and I’m used to it. One might say (if you say it politely) that I am set in my ways.
This creates a dilemma, however, when our favorite things get broken. The need for replacement parts comes about not only for what we’ve had a long while, but for what we’ve newly acquired. Note, I said acquired, not just new. I’ve inherited many a wonderful appliance from aunts, grandparents, and others who have passed them on to me, and I appreciate every one.
Another way to get some really wonderful things is at estate sales. Estate sales are a notch up from yard sales because there are usually newer, and better quality things available. However, no matter how you came by the “new” appliance, you just might need new parts to get them back in good running order.
As for getting parts for coffee makers, there is no better place than The Gourmet Depot online. There, I found an almost endless list of coffee maker parts, for every kind of maker. They even had exactly the Krups coffee maker parts that I needed, and they even had a free shipping offer!
So, if you’re needing parts to restore your favorite coffee maker, you might want to check these guys out.
